We are reopening on June 15th, 2020.

There have many changes to our practice since COVID-19. We will highlight some changes to procedures in this blog. We will write another blog on the policies and procedures to cover the more specific actions our office is utilizing following the CDC and CMS guidelines for reopening.

Dr. Kyle is no longer accepting health insurance. His rates are $110 per insertion set of needles. Insertion is an encounter that involves setting needles or using a needling technique of in and out the insertion. The meeting is not to be longer than 20 minutes of one on one time—$ 175 for initial visits. Jenna is accepting insurance and cash patients.

Schedules

Once we have a better understanding of processes, we may adjust our schedules.

Jenna is working Sundays from 9 AM-4 PM and Wednesdays from 3 PM-8 PM.

Kyle is working Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 AM-5 PM. Wednesdays from 9 AM-2 PM.

Appointments

Currently, we will only be scheduling appointments via the phone. We will only be accepting one patient per hour for the first few weeks back in the office. We will be doing a prescreening phone call or email the day before your appointment. We will ask specific questions relating to COVID-19. We will discuss the reason for your visit and ask any questions about the visit over the phone. We will be sending a form via secure HIPAA compliant text, email, or phone.

On the day of your appointment, all office doors will remain locked during business hours. We will only allow the person who has an appointment in the office. We have two entrances door 1 and door 2. On the prescreening phone call, we will assign you an entry. When it is your appointment time, we will communicate with you via secure HIPAA compliant text, email, or phone to ask you to come to the door. We will open the door and check your temperature before coming into the office. If you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher, you will not be allowed in for an appointment.

The prescreening rooms will have windows open to allow for air circulation. Once you pass the temperature screening, we ask that you use hand sanitizer and/or wash your hands. You will be required to wear a mask during the appointment. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you. We will do another prescreening and have you sign a waiver. Once you’ve passed all the questions, we will allow you access to the bathroom or treatment room.

Treatment rooms

We are operating in only two treatment rooms. We removed all decorations from the office and treatment rooms. The remaining items in the office are easily cleaned and disinfected. We have air purifiers with H-13 Hepa filters that cycle air 5 times an hour. We are following the CDC and CMS guidelines for disinfecting the rooms using EPA approved substances.

Guest policy

The only people allowed in the office must have an appointment. We no longer offer a waiting room. We will only allow the person with an appointment to enter the office.

Bathroom

When using the bathroom, please flush the toilet with the toilet seat down. We will be disinfecting each room after each use.

Payment Processing

We will ask about the payment method on the prescreening call. We will offer tap and go wireless contact, invoice payment via square, and you can pay with cash in an envelope must be the exact amount.

Rescheduling appointments

We can reschedule your appointment at the end of the session. We can follow up with a phone call at your request.
